Ruk bhAI Privacy Notice What we keep and why

Your details
WhatsApp shares your phone number with us so we can receive your messages and reply. We do not store your full number or any of its digits. We store only your country code and a keyed, one-way identifier derived from your number. This identifier lets us apply the limit of five checks per 24 hours and delete your data on request. It is pseudonymous, not fully anonymous.
Messages
We automatically mask sensitive details such as OTPs, PINs and card or account numbers before analysis and storage, though masking may not catch everything. Masked text is deleted after 90 days. Analysis results, links and scam indicators are kept until you ask us to delete them. Forwarded messages may contain other people’s details, which we use only to assess the scam.
Images
Images up to 2 MB and their captions are analysed using AI models. We process them in memory and never save them. We keep only the verdict, red-flag categories and basic check details such as time and file size. Details inside images are not masked, so please avoid sending images that show personal or financial information. PDFs, audio and video are not supported.
Sharing
We do not sell your information. Meta (WhatsApp), Replit (hosting) and Anthropic, OpenAI and Google Gemini (AI analysis) process information to run the service, under their own privacy and retention policies, and some of this may happen outside India. We may look up domain names, not your messages, in public domain-registration databases. We may disclose information when required by law.
Your control
Send DELETE MY DATA from the same WhatsApp account to delete your stored records, and we will confirm when it’s done. Scam indicators no longer linked to you, such as a reported scam domain, may be kept to protect other users. You can also email us to access, correct or delete your data, or to raise a complaint. You can stop using Ruk bhAI at any time.
Eligibility and limits
Ruk bhAI is currently for users aged 18 or over with Indian (+91) WhatsApp numbers. Assessments are automated and can be wrong. A low-risk result does not guarantee that a message, link or payment request is safe. If you’ve been defrauded, call 1930 or report at cybercrime.gov.in.
